Polypropylene is similar to Polyethylene and is also just as cheap, but much stronger! We come across PP in packaging & disposables that require a higher quality than PE can offer. Some properties of PP are: reasonable stiffness and hardness, high toughness and strength & high temperature resistance.
Apparently PP does not look much different from PS or PE, each manufacturer has its own considerations when choosing between these plastic types. Polypropylene can be easily recycled.
